Buongiorno from Rome, Italy!

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. As we excitedly prepare for the spring/summer season, we wanted to be in touch with our guests to share some information about the safety precautions in place for 2022.

We are proud to say that Scooteroma has remained open for business and we are taking reservations for the current 2022 season. We’ll continue to specialize in private tours all being conducted outside in the open-air of the Eternal City.

During these COVID-19 times we want to reassure our clients that safety will continue to be our priority number one on and off the road. We are happy to inform you that our entire Squad is fully vaccinated! As an extra precaution we require masks to be worn while riding on the Vespa but can be removed during the stops along the way.

Please be advised that Italy requires proof of the ‘Green Pass’ in order to have indoor access and the possibility of outdoor seating. You will need to present your vaccination card or have proof you have recently recovered from COVID-19. This will be necessary in order to enter bars, restaurants and any museums or monuments in addition to all forms of public transportation including train travel throughout the country. These current restrictions will be reviewed on March 31st by the Italian government and most likely will change. For any questions or clarification please free to email us.

In addition to our standard cleanliness practices with our helmets (each one has a new hygienic cap with each client), we’re taking further precautions by wiping down and disinfecting our Vespas and helmets before each tour. For those who are not keen on riding on the back of our Vespa, we have an adorable buggy option called Ape Calessino! Up to 3 clients can ride in the back and our driver is at the front manning the wheel. Alternatively, if you have experience on two wheels you can drive your own Vespa with our self-drive tour. And for those who would rather stride than ride, experience the signature Scooteroma vibe with our Street Art Walk which covers the Ostiense and Garbatella neighborhoods.
